Six steps, one owner involved throughout — here’s exactly what happens between your first call and the final walkthrough.
Reach out to start the conversation, and we'll send over a short questionnaire covering the basics — what you're looking to do, your rough budget, and your timeline. Once it's back, we'll reach out to discuss your project in more detail and see if we're a fit for each other.
An owner comes to you. We'll look at the space in person, talk through what you want out of the renovation, and flag anything — permits, structural work, access issues — that could affect scope early, before it becomes a surprise later.
We measure, take photos, and price the job line by line — labour, materials, and sub-trades broken out separately rather than bundled into one number. This is what you'll actually reference throughout the project.
We go through the estimate line by line with you and adjust wherever needed — swapping materials, phasing work, or trimming scope to fit your budget. You sign off only once it matches what you actually want.
Finishes, fixtures, and materials get finalized, and we line up our sub-trades — the same electricians, plumbers, and HVAC crews we've worked with for years — around a confirmed start date.
Mike or Ben oversees the job directly — coordinating trades, checking in on-site, and keeping you updated — through to a final walkthrough where we confirm everything was done the way it was priced.

Since becoming a general contractor in 2007, he has gained hands-on experience across every aspect of residential construction. Known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail, Mike is committed to delivering quality work built to last.
